Posyandu is government program for toddlers and mothers health, such as vaccination, weighing, general health check. In every month, PT. Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia support Posyandu and Providing Supplemental Food (PMT) to help meet the nutritional needs of toddlers and pregnant women in 3 areas around 1st Factory neighborhood. HCMI provides milk, healthy biscuits, vitamin A as a means to help meet the nutritional needs of toddlers, and as a means to mobilize community participation in supporting the continuity of Posyandu implementation.

PT. Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia is aware that education is an important factor that contributes to the progress of the nation and state. Therefore, through the CSR program, HCMI provides scholarship assistance for the children of employees and elementary schools near HCMI who achievement in academics. The goal is to continue to increase children's motivation to continue to achieve. We selected elementary school children near HCMI and the best employee children from Elementary School (SD) to High School (SMA) levels.

PT. Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia, in association with Indonesia Red Cross (PMI), organize Blood Donation Activity every 3 months which is voluntarily participated by HCMI employees as form of solidarities made for the benefits of others.

As a form of concern and social responsibility PT. Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia, which focuses on environmental preservation, every year we routinely clean the drainage along the east and west walls with the length more than 1,000 meters which are directly adjacent to the neighborhood where the local community lives. This CSR is given as a form of tolerance for the community around the PT. HCMI. This activity involving 15 persons of local residents. As a result, the drainage become clean from trash & mud, also water flow smoothly.

To support government programs to reduce air pollution in Indonesia, especially Jakarta and Bekasi, PT. HCMI entered into a lease agreement with the Insurance Company in 2022 and took delivery of 20 electric motorcycles which the term of the leasing contract is two years. The electric motorbike will be used by 20 employees working at PT. HCMI whose daily distance is within 30 kilometers round-trip from they house to PT. HCMI. Rental fees and batery are paid by PT. HCMI, and employees only pay for the quota online they buy according to the distance of the electric motorbikes. The aim of the company involves employees to increase employee awareness of the environment.

As part of evaluation skills and quality also facing global competition in the heavy equipment industry, PT. HCMI participates in the Internal and International Skills Competition which is held annually. HCMI internal competitions on Welding, Painting, Measuring, Assembling and Maintenance are conducted to select the best employees to dispatch into International Competitions held by overseas HCM groups, such as Japan, India, China.
