Message from the President Director

Our fifteenth anniversary is a good time to reflect on what we have accomplished.

During this last decade, HCMI has achieved a growth in construction machinery businesses and services, and played a major part in Indonesia’s industrial development.

HCMI has made another leap forward, by getting ASME Certification (“S” and “U” stamp) which make HCMI as an authorized manufacturer to produce boiler and pressure vessel.

We are also pleased to announce that our production capacity increase to become 1000 units/year for 2005 and planning to boost our capacity to become 1200 units/year. We proud that on May 2005, our 5000th unit excavator was successfully delivered to customer, as result of our continuous research and development, to meet customer needs by performing our QCDS Concept (Quality, Cost, Delivery and Services).

Hitachi Group also has a Corporate Culture that Hitachi not only looks for profit, but also should concern against the circumstance of working place. For example, we implement ISO 14001 for establishment of comfortable working space, factory and society, so that we have to concern about the society and country such as earth quake and tsunami disaster.

For this concern, Hitachi Group had donated 10 units of Hitachi Hydraulic Excavator for the relief of earth quake and tsunami disaster in Aceh and North Sumatra which happened on December 26th, 2004.
All of those units had been completely handed over through the Government of Aceh to be utilized for helping the victims and we strongly hope that people in Aceh and North Sumatera could recover as soon as possible and return to normal life.

Lastly, I would like to close my remark by extending my gratitude to all of our customers, vendors, directors and staffs of HCMI. I wish all the best for all of you.
