Based on the basic stance of "making all Employees prioritize safety and health", we actively promote occupational safety and health activities with the participation of all employees, customers, guests and everyone who directly or indirectly impacts on HCMI activities including affiliated companies. All employees firmly believe that "all work accidents can be prevented" and strive to eliminate all work accidents and create a healthy and safe workplace.

1. Prevent work accidents and continue to improve the safety and health of the work environment, and continue to improve the Occupational Safety and Health management system to improve occupational safety and health performance through two ways, namely the responsibility to systematically complete safety and health activities and take safety measures effective under the leadership and supervision of management supervisors, and the strong desire of all employees to protect their own safety.
2. To achieve compliance with occupational safety and health management obligations, we strengthen occupational safety and health management systems that clarify roles and responsibilities related to safety and health, and comply with occupational safety and health laws, regulations, agreements, HCMI Factory regulations and HCM headquarters request and other requirements.
3. Implement education and training for occupational safety and health, confirm the knowledge and skills needed, and simultaneously apply the overall ground rules and increase sensitivity to "feel danger as a dangerous thing".
4. Conduct risk assessments on machinery, work methods and handling of chemicals, eliminate potential hazards and hazardous factors first or reduce risks, and strive to ensure safety and health. Mainly to eradicate work accidents such as being stuck / entangled, falling, cut / scraped, accident work caused by lack of work experience and serious hiyari hatto such as heavy objects falling, vehicle-related crash / contact accidents.
5. In the event of an industrial accident, immediately investigate the true motive, take preventative measures so that it does not happen again, and simultaneously promote horizontal expansion.
6. To create a healthy and safe workplace, actively promote measures to create a comfortable workplace and take steps to improve health care by utilizing the results of health checks etc.
7. Participate in improving the safety and health of the entire Hitachi Construction Machinery Group by exchanging health and safety information with related manufacturing companies.
8. To achieve occupational safety and health policies, invest appropriate management resources, set occupational safety and health goals for all factories and each department, and ask workers and worker representatives to discuss and participate in safety and health committees, and promote occupational safety and health management.
• These occupational safety and health policy will be reviewed periodically and revised as necessary.
9. Notifying this occupational safety and health policy to all people who work at HCMI and at the same time communicating it to affiliated companies, suppliers to ask for their understanding and cooperation.
